Education Program Administrator

Education Program Administrator – Hinds County, MS Responsibilities Design data collection and reporting of SPP/APR for each LEA. Train and support state and LEA staff on valid and reliable data collection. Provide support for LEAs with remote learning opportunities, answering questions and offering technical assistance related to data to improve student outcomes. Oversee and coordinate the data team in developing practices and processes related to Indicators 1‑18 and Edfacts (616 and 618) submissions. Improve and strengthen strategies for data collection, implementation, and improvement. Integrate data collection across three bureau divisions to support general supervision of LEA subgrantees. Collaborate and communicate consistently with staff regarding tasks, expectations, and goals aligned to the Integrated Monitoring System. Identify projects and task alignments requiring cross‑division effort with other MDE divisions as well as MDRS and MDHS. Develop and present instructional resources and training for internal and external stakeholders on how to use these applications. Define scope, objectives, and functionality of applications related to SPP/APR and LEA determinations based on business rules and processes. What You'll Need to Be Successful This position requires strong communication and organization skills, the ability to multitask, and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree and 7+ years of experience. Experience with Mississippi Student Information System (MSIS) and State Performance Plan (SPP) and Annual Performance Plan (APR).
