Pay: $20/hr regular time | $30/hr overtime
Per Diem: $50/day untaxed — up to $350/week

We are hiring entry-level Traveling Data Center Technicians to support projects serving leading technology and cloud infrastructure companies, including AWS, Meta, Microsoft, and other national clients.

This is not local-only work. Candidates must be located in—or able to report to— Phoenix, AZ for training before deployment. After successful training, you must drive yourself in your own reliable vehicle to the assigned project site and be prepared for extended nationwide travel.

Training and travel requirement — please read

• This is an  entry-level position , and no previous data center experience is required.
• Training is held in Phoenix, AZ. You must be local to the Phoenix area or able to reliably report to Phoenix for training.
• After training, you must be able to  drive yourself in your own vehicle to the job site you are assigned.
• This role requires  full-time travel nationwide .
• Assignments are typically 12+ weeks at a time before returning home or moving to the next project.
• You must be open to any assigned project location—not just one state or region.
• Potential locations may include Texas, Ohio, South Carolina, Iowa, and other data center markets throughout the U.S.
• Weekly untaxed per diem is provided while traveling: $50/day, up to $350/week .

What you’ll do

You will receive training and then support the physical infrastructure that allows data centers to operate at scale. Work includes low-voltage structured cabling and conveyance/pathway installation—such as cable trays, ladder racks, basket tray, and overhead fiber raceways—which support the routing and organization of fiber and copper network cable.

• Install low-voltage structured cabling infrastructure in active data center environments.
• Pull, route, secure, dress, label, and organize copper and fiber-optic cable.
• Assist with installation of cable conveyance systems, including ladder racks, cable tray, basket tray, J-hooks, and overhead fiber raceways.
• Support cable pathway layout and build-out using drawings, site standards, and direction from project leads.
• Assist with patching, rack-and-stack activities, equipment-room organization, and cable management.
• Help maintain clean, accessible cable pathways that support safe airflow, organization, and future serviceability.
• Work from prints, cable schedules, work orders, and established installation procedures.
• Follow strict site safety, security, quality-control, and cleanliness standards.

Schedule and pay

• $20/hr regular pay.
• $30/hr overtime pay.
• Minimum of 50–60 hours per week ; overtime is expected and required based on project needs.
• Night-shift flexibility is required. Assignments may include days, nights, or changing schedules depending on the project phase and customer requirements.
• $50/day untaxed per diem , up to $350/week , while on eligible travel assignments.
• Weekly pay.

What we’re looking for

• Local Phoenix-area candidate who can attend training before deployment.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for 12+ week assignments.
• Ability to drive yourself to the assigned project location in your own reliable vehicle.
• Flexibility to work overtime, 50–60+ hours weekly, nights, and shifting project schedules.
• Interest in low-voltage systems, structured cabling, data centers, telecommunications, or technical construction.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely on ladders, lifts, and in active construction environments.
• Dependable attendance, professional communication, and a strong work ethic.
• Previous construction, cabling, electrical, warehouse, or trade experience is helpful, but not required.
