POSITION PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:
The Warehouse Supervisor/Lead is responsible for overseeing parts of the end-to-end fulfillment process for the US Warehouse,
ensuring the safe and efficient operation of defined warehouse areas. This role supervises staff, ensures performance meets
KPIs, and drives continuous improvement across operation functions, including inbound, picking, outbound, e-commerce, and BOH/Fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management (Operation TLs)
o Oversee daily warehouse operations, outlined in the specific areas noted above
o Ensure efficient space utilization and maintain accurate inventory records
o Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures
o Order Fulfillment: Accurate and timely processing, picking, packing, and delivery of all online/B2C customer
orders, returns, and exchanges
S taff Supervision and Management (All TL)
o Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff
o Develop staff schedules and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations
o Foster a safe and collaborative working environment
o People Management
Compliance and Safety (All TL)
o Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations
o Conduct regular safety audits and implement safety programs
o Maintain security protocols to protect warehouse assets
o Ensuring Safe Operation: Ensure the safe operation of the distribution center (DC) and keep up with
compliance needs
Inventory Control (Stock Control TL)
o Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks. Manage stock takes and stock reconciliations
o Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies
o Coordinate with Merchandise & Loss Prevention teams to manage inventory effectively
o Manage DC consumables (packaging, labels, stationary, etc.) and place orders in a timely manner
Logistics Coordination (Operation TLs)
o Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, transport companies, and customers
o Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency
o Ensure timely delivery and distribution of goods
o Managing Partners: Manage day-to-day relationships with outbound 3PLs and carriers
Quality Control (All TLs)
o Maintain quality control standards for incoming and outgoing goods
o Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies
o Implement quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives
o Customer Goals: Delight customers with prompt processing and delivery, accurate picking, and customer-
friendly packaging
Budget Management (Admin TL)
o Prepare and manage daily statistics boards – reconciling variable and fixed cost visuals
o Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
o Assist with or negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers
Analytics and Reporting (All TLs)
o Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all warehouse activities
o Report any issues or discrepancies to senior management
o Analytics & Reporting: Accountable for all analytics for operational areas, including SLA (Service Level
Agreement) adherence, sales, and order forecasts, cost to serve, and ad hoc requests
o Commercial Reporting: Continuously drive down the cost to serve and provide commercial reporting to various
stakeholders
Continuous Improvement & Process Management (All TLs)
o Ensure documentation of all processes (SOP’s) are (a) created and (b) updated
o Drive continuous improvement at the site, improving processes and reducing cost – creating visuals and set
timings with the Warehouse management for set Gemba walks
Customer Service (Admin TL)
o Liaise with customer service to ensure their requirements are met
o Handle Zendesk tickets effectively and in a timely manner
o Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction ensuring the DC meets DIFOT standards
o Customer Goals: Delight customers with prompt processing and delivery, accurate picking, and customer-
friendly packaging
Safety and Risk Management (All TLs)
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
o Implement security measures to safeguard warehouse assets
o Always ensure a clean and safe working area for the team
o Report safety incidents immediately to Line Manager
o Perform safety audits
Additional Requirements (All TLs)
o Cultural Sensitivity: Understanding and respecting local customs and work culture is crucial
o Language Skills: Proficiency in Malay and English is often required; additional local languages can be beneficial
o Regulatory Knowledge: Staying updated with US laws and regulations related to warehousing, Labor, and trade
