Pay Rate: $ 2,000 To $ 2,200

Schedule: Day Shift; Friday Sunday; 7:00 AM 7:30 PM; 3x12-Hour Shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

Work Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging

Experience: Minimum 3 Years Required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Ultrasound Tech) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The technologist will provide inpatient and outpatient ultrasound services across multiple imaging specialties.

The position requires experience with general, abdominal, OB, vascular, breast, and small-parts ultrasound imaging , along with the ability to assist with biopsy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general, abdominal, OB, vascular, breast, and small-parts ultrasound examinations according to established imaging protocols.

• Provide diagnostic ultrasound services for both inpatient and outpatient populations.

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with ultrasound-guided biopsy procedures as required.

• Position patients appropriately, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and follow applicable patient-safety standards.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Meditech and collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 Years of Recent Ultrasound Technologist Experience Required.

• Current ARDMS Registration or ARRT Sonography [ARRT (S)] Certification Required.

• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification Required.

• Experience With General, Abdominal, OB, Vascular, Breast, and Small-Parts Ultrasound Imaging Required.

• Current Flu Vaccination With No Exemptions Required; Must Meet the 75-Mile Travel Radius Requirement and Be Available for Weekend, Call, and Holiday Coverage.

This contract opportunity is well suited for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist with strong multi-specialty sonography and procedural imaging skills.
