Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and patient-focused Physical Therapist to join a growing multidisciplinary team. This outpatient pain management practice specializes in providing comprehensive, individualized care to patients experiencing acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain. The practice utilizes an integrated approach that combines advanced interventional pain management with physical therapy and rehabilitation to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and enhance their quality of life.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clinical Care and Management

• Manage a high-volume caseload of approximately 25 patients per day.

• Perform initial evaluations efficiently within a 15-minute timeframe.

• Execute a structured treatment flow for 30-minute sessions:

  • 10 minutes of electrical stimulation and hot packs

  • 10 minutes of therapeutic exercise

  • 10 minutes of manual therapy

• Coordinate treatment for patients receiving same-day acupuncture services to ensure efficient patient flow.

Departmental Leadership and Operations

• Proactively monitor patient attendance and retention, collaborating with the front desk team to follow up with patients who miss approved treatment sessions.

• Promote integrated services, including encouraging acupuncture patients to utilize physical therapy when clinically appropriate.

• Utilize the Prompt EMR system for efficient clinical documentation and patient tracking.

• Maintain professional relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community partners.

Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapist license in the State of New York.

• Strong patient-focused approach with excellent clinical judgment.

• Highly proactive and motivated in delivering patient care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced outpatient environment.
