Job Details:
Schedule: Monday-Friday OR Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

• Conduct door-to-door outreach and engage residents with professionalism and empathy
• Educate community members about available programs, benefits, and support services
• Collect and record accurate information from residents while maintaining confidentiality
• Serve as a liaison between the community and city services, identifying needs and concerns
• Participate in outreach events, resource fairs, and neighborhood initiatives
• Maintain daily activity logs and meet outreach goals
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve outreach strategies and impact

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience in canvassing, outreach, customer service, or community engagement preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with diverse populations
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking for extended periods
• Passion for community service, equity, and helping underserved populations
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused environment
• Reliable transportation preferred (may vary by assignment)
• Basic data entry or mobile device skills for reporting outreach activities
