As a Senior Power Platform Developer on our solutions delivery team, you will help advance the digital transformation of mission-critical government systems. Our teams value curiosity, collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement. We use Agile practices, DevSecOps standards, an automate-first mindset, and modern technology stacks to deliver secure, effective solutions. The role collaborates closely with stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and project leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that advance our customer's modernization objectives.

The Power Platform Developer designs, builds, enhances, tests, deploys, and maintains Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support CDC mission programs. This role contributes to application modernization by developing Power Apps, automating business processes with Power Automate, supporting Dataverse data models, and assisting with integration, testing, and operations. The developer works within Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, user-centered solutions that meet federal security and accessibility requirements.

Technical members of our solutions teams require little guidance, but love to learn, collaborate, and problem solve. This position requires experience and passion for coding, and a strong desire to solve our customers' unique technology challenges.

Role and Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture, data models, integration patterns, and automation strategies.
• Build advanced Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, and Power Automate workflows.
• Guide backlog refinement and technical solutioning activities.
• Modernize legacy applications and business processes.
• Review code, configurations, and solution designs for quality and maintainability.
• Develop and enhance Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Pages.
• Configure and maintain Dataverse tables, forms, views, and business rules.
• Create and maintain Power Automate workflows and approval processes.
• Migrate legacy business processes to Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Participate in requirements analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design.
• Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Support production deployments, operational maintenance, and release management.
• Ensure solutions meet CDC security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 10+ years of application development experience.
• 7+ years of Power Platform solution development experience.
• Experience migrating legacy applications built on .NET, C#, and JavaScript to modern PowerPlatform solutions
• Experience with:
• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Dataverse
• Azure Integration Services
• REST APIs
• SharePoint Online
• Azure DevOps
• Experience leading technical teams and solution delivery efforts.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and application lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure B2C or Login.gov integration.
• Experience working on a Scrum team using a ticket management system (Azure DevOps or Jira)
• Exemplary communication skills.
• Personnel filling this requirement/position must be US citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform Azure and / or Dynamics 365.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications.
• Experience supporting HHS, CDC, or other federal agencies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility and federal security requirements.
• Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SQL Server, APIs, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience implementing security, governance, and compliance controls in Power Platform environments.

$150,000 - $159,000 a year The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, TrueTandem considers several factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. In addition, TrueTandem provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, dental and vision plans, life and disability insurance, company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
