Your future role at a glance Location: Panama City, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Medical Group Panama City Medical Office Building Department: Bay Ortho Trauma Schedule: Day | PRN | Office is open Monday - Friday How you'll make an impact in this role Assist providers with patient examination and treatment and proactively monitor and respond to potential safety threats. Generate superior quality radiologic films for accurate medical diagnosis by expertly preparing and positioning patients and accurately selecting technical parameters. Maintain a commitment to safety by strictly following radiation guidelines to prevent unnecessary patient exposure and observing patients during procedures to report any abnormal activity. Ensure technical and data integrity by accurately administering contrast media/medications within the accepted scope of practice, promptly submitting high-quality images and patient data to PACS, and monitoring protocols for potential updates. Ensure the department runs smoothly by verifying all equipment is properly functioning (reporting and securing malfunctions as necessary) and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. What additional requirements you'll need 1 year of experience.
