Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:30–07:00) | 36–48 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting, managing critically ill patients with complex needs
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using electronic health record systems
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during periods of low ICU census, maintaining patient ratios of 5–6:1
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an ICU setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• TNCC or TCAR certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 6 hours of Stroke education (can be provided if needed)
• EKG course completion (can be provided if needed)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Prior travel nursing experience with demonstrated compliance documentation practices
