Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Role Description

Acrisure is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner. This role is responsible for managing lost time workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claim handling.

  • Investigate claims, evaluate liability and exposure, manage litigation and medical activity, maintain reserves, and support claim resolution strategies.
  • This position is ideal for a claims professional who is comfortable managing multiple priorities, navigating complex claims issues, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must reside in the state of Tennessee due to business and compliance requirements.
  • Workers’ compensation claims experience is required for this role.
  • Candidates should have experience handling workers’ compensation claims and exposure to lost time claim management.

Qualifications

  • Workers’ compensation claims handling experience required.
  • Lost time workers’ compensation claims experience beneficial.
  • Exposure to litigation management and settlement negotiations beneficial.
  • Must reside in the state of Tennessee.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and sound decision-making ability.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach when working with clients and claimants.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree beneficial.
  • Adjuster licensing beneficial or ability to obtain licensing as required.
