Location: Jacksonville, FL (Onsite) Duration- 4+ month Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM until finish Shift: 1st / Day Shift Overtime: As needed
Job Summary
The Checker II is responsible for verifying order accuracy in a fast-paced food distribution warehouse. This role ensures products are accurately selected, documented, approved, and prepared for shipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Verify customer orders using warehouse management system (SWMS) pull sheets
- Confirm correct quantities, pack sizes, product descriptions, and dates (when applicable)
- Tag outgoing pallets for loading readiness
- Transfer product dates and information to warehouse pull sheets
- Obtain management approval for short-dated products and notify warehouse supervision
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and assist with housekeeping duties
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Required Skills
- 35 years of related warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift 1025 lbs
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (approximately 35F)
- Steel-toe boots required

- Sysco Warehouse Management System (SWMS)
- Refrigerated warehouse environment (35F)
- Fast-paced food distribution facility
