Part-Time Accountant

Children’s Harbor is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Part‑Time Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong "can-do" attitude, thrives under pressure to meet critical deadlines, and demonstrates highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Financial Data Entry: Process invoice payments and enter daily deposits using QuickBooks Online. System Management: Maintain and update financial information within the agency's Access database system. Reconciliations: Perform monthly credit card and bank reconciliations, along with regular spreadsheet updates. Reporting Support: Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures. Audit & Budget Planning: Provide support for the annual agency audit and assist with annual budget entries into QuickBooks Online. Administrative Support: Complete other reconciliations and financial spreadsheet updates as needed. Hours per week: 24hrs to 28hrs Job Location: Pembroke Pines, FL Requirements: Must be fluent in English (written and verbal). Required education: Degree in accounting, business administration or equivalent. Experience required: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Strong Microsoft skills with emphasis on Access, Word and Excel. Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online with emphasis on bill pay. Non-profit accounting is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Children
