Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Mechanical Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to work in a valve shop environment. The role involves repairing, servicing, and installing mechanical valves and systems both in the field and within the shop. The technician will primarily be local (75% of the time), participating in safety trainings, cleaning the shop, and collaborating with others to repair and service valves in demanding hot and dirty environments.ResponsibilitiesRepair, service, and install mechanical valves and systems in the field.Participate in safety trainings and maintain cleanliness in the shop.Collaborate with team members to repair and service valves.Utilize hand and power tools, tape measures, and pneumatics for assembly and repair tasks.Work with blueprints when available to guide installations and repairs.Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and repair.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Knowledge of pneumatics and installation techniques.Ability to accurately use tape measures.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with mechanical systems such as brakes and rotors.Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints.Why Work Here?Employees enjoy 10 paid holidays and an additional floating holiday.
