*Responsibilities*
* Preparing work plans after fully assessing issues including electrical and hydraulic systems
* Running diagnostic tests on diesel engines and interpreting the results to offer suitable solutions
* Utilizing vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure codes to initiate repairs.
* Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment in air systems, brakes, and hydraulics
* Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance worksheets associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
* Reviews and completes repairs identified by shop manager and driver.
* Maintains a clean, safe work area.
* Inspecting vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering and exhausts
* Repairing or replacing vehicle transmissions, brakes, engines and other associated parts
* Conducting field visits in the case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
* Test driving repaired vehicles to gauge their performance
* Completing oil changes, services, and brake checks
* Maintaining records of parts inventory and serviced vehicles
* Maintain positive attitude while taking initiative in daily tasks

* Punctuality and dependability
* Ability to push, pull, or lift 50-150 lbs. regularly
*Requirements*
* Valid CDL driver’s license (Class B minimum) is preferred but not required. xhmxlyz
* Able to pass DOT physical and drug screening
* Must be able to work some weekends, and early mornings or evenings as needed
* Positive, can do attitude
* Salary is based on experience.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
