Job Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Our organization is looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare and medical services team. This position is based on-site and involves implementing treatment plans designed by therapists to improve the independence, safety, and overall quality of life for our senior residents across various living arrangements, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
Key Responsibilities- Execute therapist-created treatment plans aimed at enhancing residents' daily living skills.
- Facilitate functional mobility activities and therapeutic exercises.
- Document residents' progress and outcomes effectively.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff and therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide education and support to families regarding treatment and care strategies.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate approach towards resident care.
This role requires on-site presence, engaging directly with residents and the healthcare team in a supportive and dynamic environment.
