Full Time Cleaner

Full Time Cleaners Needed We are looking for two full‑time cleaners – one for each shift listed below. Shift Schedules Day shift 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesday – Saturday (Saturday hours vary based on district needs) Night shift 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday – Friday Current hourly rate: $16.75 Job Description Primary responsibilities include routine manual cleaning and minor maintenance tasks under general supervision. Typical work activities are: Sweep and mop floors and stairs Dust chairs, tables and other furniture Wash windows, walls, sinks and other fixtures Polish furniture and metal furnishings Empty waste baskets, collect and dispose of rubbish Replace soap and towels Wax floors Move and arrange chairs, tables and other furnishings and equipment Cleans clothes, equipment and other laundry items using washing and drying machines May load and unload materials, parts or products manually or using a hoist May shovel snow from sidewalks, stairs and other passages May direct facility users to appropriate areas and observe their conduct to report violations of facility rules May open, close and check building securing windows, locks and doors May collect, fold, sort and distribute laundry and linen items May perform minor maintenance tasks May operate a motor vehicle to travel from one work site to another Required Skills and Qualities Ability to acquire knowledge of cleaning practices, supplies and equipment; ability to follow instructions; willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks; good observation skills; integrity; reliability; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position. Qualifications Minimum qualifications: None. In jurisdictions where required, possession and maintenance of the appropriate class NYS driver’s license.
