Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Run long-haul dry van routes nationwide from Harrisonburg, VA as a solo OTR operator, delivering freight with an emphasis on safety and reliability. You’ll average about 2,500 miles per week and earn starting pay of 65¢ per mile, with additional bonuses for safe driving, clean inspections, and referrals.

Primary responsibilities:

• Safely operate and inspect modern tractors (under 3 years) equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleepers.
• Secure freight, maintain electronic logs and accurate trip paperwork, and coordinate with dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, state, and company regulations to maintain clean inspections.

Requirements:

• CDL-A and a minimum of 12 months verifiable driving experience.
