Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Float Pool

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holidays.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across various medical-surgical units. The RN will float to different specialties including Orthopedics, Medical-Surgical, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and Med-Surg Tele. The role also includes floating to our WestLakes Campus, located approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a variety of settings including med-surg and specialty floors.
• Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient care and responses accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license is required.
• Ability to float to multiple units and adapt to varying patient needs.
• Successful completion of health screening and background checks as outlined by the facility protocols.
• COVID-19 vaccination and other immunizations may be required.
