Registered Behavior Technician RBT - Part Time

Registered Behavior Technician / RBT Butterfly Effects' mission is to make a socially meaningful change in the lives of children and families by serving children and families affected by autism. Position Overview We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians to directly assist children with autism in honing vital skills such as communication, social interaction, and self‑care. This part‑time role involves collaboration with families to execute ABA‑based behavior intervention plans. Compensation Competitive hourly wage of $18.00–$25.00 depending on experience, education, and certifications. Benefits Part‑time flexibility Impactful work that contributes to lifelong changes in a child's life Career growth opportunities, including support toward RBT or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification Supportive team environment focused on providing calm, protection, and joy to families affected by autism Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Passion for working with children and a genuine love for the field Strong interpersonal skills and positive attitude toward working with children and families Prior experience working with children is advantageous Interest in ongoing learning and professional development Reliable transportation to field sites Ability to pass a criminal background check Position Duties Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Observe, record, and report client progress, and the condition and behavior of the client daily Manage challenging behaviors and apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions Assist clients to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills as needed Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients Serve as an active member of the treatment team Complete daily paperwork and data collection notes accurately and timely through the online database Participate in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills Maintain client confidentiality Follow BE policies and procedures Physical Requirements The role involves working in natural environments and occasionally requires lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. while maintaining various postures for extended periods.
