Casa Luna is an intimate craft cocktail bar in Old Town Alexandria offering a semi-premium guest experience in a small, high-touch setting. Our bar focuses on thoughtfully made cocktails, a relatively premium well, and a spirits selection that includes rare and hard-to-find bottles. Because of our size, every team member plays an important role in shaping the guest experience from start to finish.

We are looking for a bartender who is also comfortable serving guests on the floor. This role is ideal for someone who is knowledgeable, hospitality-driven, and thrives in a small team environment where professionalism, efficiency, and teamwork matter.

We are seeking someone who:

• Has strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and bar service
• Can confidently speak with guests about spirits, cocktails, and recommendations
• Is comfortable bartending and/or serving in the same shift
• Understands how to provide polished, attentive service without being overly formal
• Works well in a pooled-tip environment and values team success over individual ego
• Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset
• Can stay composed and detail-oriented during busy service
• Takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and maintaining bar standards

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages to house standards
• Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service to guests
• Serve tables as needed and support the floor during service
• Guide guests through the cocktail list and spirits offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service areas, and dining room
• Assist with opening and closing duties, restocking, prep, and general upkeep
• Communicate clearly with the team to keep service smooth and efficient
• Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and guest-focused culture

Qualifications:

• Prior bartending and serving experience required
• Strong spirits knowledge is required
• Comfort with premium products and speaking about them with guests
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails is preferred
• Ability to multitask in a small, fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• A strong thirst and curiosity for learning new techniques and exploring new flavors

Compensation: Hourly ($7.00) plus tips with opportunities to grow.
