COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Department: Creative Job Title: Communications Coordinator Direct Report: Creative Director Position Rank: Full Time (Sunday-Thursday) Purpose The Communications Coordinator helps advance the vision of Daystar Church by creating and managing clear, engaging, and consistent communication across digital and church-wide platforms. This role partners with ministries and staff to effectively promote events, initiatives, and opportunities while maintaining Daystar’s voice and brand. Key Responsibilities Manage social media, email, text messaging, website, and other communication platforms. Create, write, schedule, and oversee digital and church-wide content. Maintain a communication calendar and coordinate messaging, deadlines, and campaigns. Partner with ministry leaders to communicate events, announcements, and initiatives. Develop promotional strategies for events, sermon series, campaigns, and ministries. Monitor analytics and trends to improve communication effectiveness. Collaborate with the Creative Team to align messaging and visuals. Recruit, train, and disciple Creative Dream Teamers. Attend required staff, Creative Team, and planning meetings. Travel to Daystar campuses on a monthly rotation. Pursue personal, spiritual, and professional growth. Qualifications Experience managing social media and digital communications. Strong writing, editing, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, email, text messaging, and Google Workspace. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and platforms. Creative, strategic, proactive, and detail-oriented. Basic graphic design experience preferred. Core Values Love God and people.
