Service Technician - Hireology Template

Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership procedures. Test drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed about any additional required service. Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs. Execute warranty repairs under manufacturer specifications. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Repair and replace vehicle components including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently while adhering to manufacturer guidelines. Maintain a clean and organized working environment following safety protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician preferred. Must possess strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic tools. Must be able to read and interpret technical manuals and repair guides.
