In this impactful role, you will serve as a trusted resource for patients by coordinating care, responding to phone calls and patient inquiries, facilitating timely follow-up appointments, and helping patients navigate the healthcare system. You will work closely with patients to address insurance-related barriers and connect them with available resources, while collaborating with physicians, clinic staff, and multidisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless, high-quality care. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by improving access to care and enhancing the overall patient experience for individuals with sickle cell disease. *This is a limited position which may convert to career* Hourly range: $26.42-$37.49 Job Qualifications Press space or enter keys to toggle section visibility Required: Ability to operate office equipment such as printer, scanner, copier, facsimile machine. Previous office experience. Experience working independently with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Excellent writing skills and editing correspondence and written materials. Ability to multi-task under deadline, balance competing priorities and solve problems creatively Knowledge of PCs, windows operation system, and related word processing and spreadsheet software (such as MS Word, Access, etc.). Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents. Preferred: Experience working with underserved populations, such as Sickle Cell patients As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
