Talent Acquisition Specialist

IDR is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, TX. This role is focused on managing full-cycle recruitment processes within a dynamic, corporate environment, supporting both corporate and business teams with a strategic approach to talent sourcing and candidate experience.
Position Overview for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• Partner with leaders and hiring managers to forecast short- and long-term hiring needs and develop recruiting strategies.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing plans to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
• Screen and interview candidates, assessing technical skills and cultural fit.
• Collaborate with onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of recruitment activities to ensure audit readiness.

Requirements for the Talent Acquisition Specialist:

• High School Diploma and 4 years of talent acquisition experience or Bachelors Degree and 1 year of corporate or agency talent acquisition experience.
• Extensive experience developing and executing sourcing/recruitment plans.
• Knowledge of Boolean search strings, resume sourcing, data mining, and internet research.
• Experience navigating an Applicant Tracking System and managing multiple requisitions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to travel as needed (up to 20%).
