Job Summary:
The position of registered nurse (RN) on a Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit is located in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing direct patient care within a specialized unit focused on general surgery, oncological, and neurological recovery. Candidates are required to bring their current licensure on the first day of assignment. The position offers a schedule of night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Details:

• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:30 AM, 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association (AHA) required; ACLS from AHA preferred; TNCC preferred
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license eligible for licensure in Missouri, 1 year of Med Surg inpatient experience, Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, Missouri residence or eligibility, and at least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Schedule: Night shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, as indicated on the submission form
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, coordinates patient care across departments, and performs within the scope of nursing practice in accordance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organizational standards.
• Vaccination Requirement: Flu vaccination with Mercy approved exemptions required for travel from November 1 to April 1; declinations are not accepted.
