All work is performed on school buses (no coach buses), making this an ideal role for drivers looking for consistent equipment, local routes, and steady part-time hours. Responsibilities Safely operate a school bus in compliance with all DOT and safety regulations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety Maintain a clean and organized bus environment for students Assist students in boarding and exiting the bus safely Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel Manage student behavior and enforce safety protocols during transit Report any mechanical issues or incidents promptly to management Participate in ongoing training and development programs Requirements Valid CDL with School Bus (S) or (P) endorsements or willingness to obtain one Clean driving record with no major violations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings Flexibility to work early morning and afternoon hours Patience and a passion for working with children First Aid and CPR certification is a plus What We Offer $32/hour pay Consistent part-time work Flexible scheduling Local routes — home daily Clean, well-maintained buses Supportive, team-oriented environment Work includes school routes, field trips, and charter trips (all on school buses) 3 paid holidays and 2 paid personal days CDL training and support for qualified applicants looking to become licensed school bus drivers About Us Supreme Charter Inc is a family owned company that has been proudly serving the North Shore community for over 10 years, providing safe and reliable transportation for students.
