Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Newborn Nursery (Nights)

Location

Natchez, Mississippi

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Alternating Weekends | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to newborns in a nursery setting throughout the night shift
• Monitor and assess the health status of newborn patients, documenting findings and reporting changes appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, following established protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code and unit-specific policies throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Newborn Nursery or related specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a newborn nursery or NICU environment
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical record (EMR) systems
