Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Inventory Clerks/Problem Solvers in Port Deposit, Maryland. Warehouse positions pay weekly.

Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour. Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift. Schedule: Third shift every other Wednesday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am, Thursday-Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am. Willingness to operate PIT equipment, as there will be times the job will require operating a high reach order picker up to 30 feet.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments.
• Recognize and read location, date and product codes.
• Work independently and as a member of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) (beginner level).
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified.
• Safety sensitive position, non-regulated tech - depending on location, may be required to operate and be equipment certified.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to operation supervisors and hourly associates regarding inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
