Working remotely, the full-time Access Coordinator will gather and translate insurance information for accurate claim submissions, while managing prior authorizations, referrals, and patient communication regarding service coverage. Key responsibilities: Prepares and submits payer-specific prior authorizations and referrals in accordance with guidelines Collaborates with clinicians to obtain necessary information for successful authorization approval Documents all interactions related to insurance processes within the electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Required qualifications: 1 year of relatable healthcare experience
