The Accountant role at Cornerstone will report to a Partner and have one or two direct reports. It is a highly operational, hands‑on position supporting billing, treasury, payroll interfaces, and system administration in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the Deltek ERP system, including billing, reporting, labor, and accounting functions. Manage bi‑weekly billing cycles end‑to‑end, including timesheet cutoffs, expense approvals, invoice reviews, and automated batch billings. Oversee day‑to‑day treasury operations, including ACH payments, check processing, bank deposits, and Positive Pay administration. Coordinate partner approvals for payments and funding requests. Lead monthly close activities, including bank reconciliations and limited journal entries. Administer payroll data processing from Paycor into Deltek, including manual file preparation and reconciliation. Manage intercompany billing processes and related cash movements. Support labor and overhead processes within Deltek, including automated runs and manual adjustments. Provide training and support to project managers and internal staff on billing and system‑related matters. Preferred Skills and Competencies Ability to work full‑time. Accounting/Finance Degree preferred. Seven+ years of experience required. Preferred experience in professional services market. Prior experience with Deltek ERP systems strongly preferred. Strong understanding of debits and credits. High level of comfort operating in fast‑paced environments. Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through in treasury and transactional processes. Customer‑service mindset to support internal teams such as project managers and leadership. Effective communicator with the ability to explain accounting and system concepts clearly.
