Sales Support RepresentativeThe primary function of the Sales Support Representative is to assist and support the Company's outside sales force by supplying quotes, pricing and stock, entering orders/reserves by working tickets and answering incoming phone calls.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Attend two mandatory, nationally hosted sales meetings per year (typically, in February & August). During these meetings, one Sales Support Representative rotates responsibility for working in the office.Assist at the national sales meeting line showings (standing and folding), handing out story of the lines, distributing reports and materials needed in the zone meetings during this time.Answering incoming calls from reps and transferred customers from Customer Service to assist with requests, such as orders, reserves, memos, price, stock, mill inquiries, claims, lookups, quotes, and more.Work ticket system submitted to department by processing memo orders, maintenance orders, file claims, perform mill checks, process CFA's, check and approve pricing, image FR certificates, etc.Assist specialty customers assigned by manager to process orders and respond directly to their emails.Be familiarized with our selling products and the appropriate teams.Correspond with customers and OSRs who email directly.Make sample kits for sales reps as requested by OSR or managementProcess outside sales representative's memos in Customer Relationship Management systemAssist other employees with special projects as needed.Requirements Qualifications:High School education or equivalentMust work well with othersMust be able to multitaskMust be able to work in a noisy area independentlyProcess knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft OutlookInternet navigationData entry and 10-key experience is helpfulMust possess strong typing skillsGood communication skills –oral and written
