Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience; first timers not accepted
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with Epic, Pyxis
• General ER skills required

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer medications
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal care
• Monitor and support patients from infants to geriatrics
• Respond to emergency situations and demonstrate critical thinking abilities
• Provide education and support to patients and families

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, working it is expected. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, both are required. For three major holidays, working two of them is expected.
