We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse with experience in a fast-paced environment, committed to providing exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide nursing care to patients in the Emergency DepartmentConduct assessments and evaluations of patients' conditionsAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomesParticipate in the triage of patients and assist with emergency interventionsFloat within assigned locations as requiredQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency DepartmentMust hold current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCCAbility to work flexible shifts and adapt to varying schedules within a 60-mile radiusStrong clinical skills and the capability to manage acute patient careExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesWork ScheduleShifts are 12 hours. Schedules are released 4 to 6 weeks in advance and may follow either fixed assignments at specific facilities or Just-In-Time assignments with short notice prior to shift start.Additional InformationTravelers are expected to float to various facilities within a designated zone. To provide quality care across multiple locations, the nurse must be flexible and available to accommodate patient needs. Orientation will be conducted over 2-3 days.Patient Care EnvironmentThe Emergency Department nurse will work in a fast-paced environment that caters to a diverse patient demographic, including trauma, stroke, and various medical emergencies.
