Contract | Night Shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 8-Hour Shifts | 1 Weekend Per Month Required | Holiday Coverage Possible

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scanning on inpatient, outpatient, and ED patients using GE MRI equipment (1.5T and 3T systems)
• Apply standard acquisition sequences and adhere to MRI safety guidelines throughout all procedures
• Start and manage IV access as required for contrast-enhanced imaging studies
• Collaborate with MRI Tech assistants (one per 8-hour shift) to ensure efficient department operations
• Float to cover inpatient, outpatient, and ED imaging needs as directed
• Document and manage imaging data using Epic EMR and PACS systems

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (RTR) and MRI (MR) required
• BLS certification required
• Proficiency operating GE MRI scanners (1.5T and 3T)
• Knowledge of MRI safety guidelines and standard acquisition sequences
• Ability to start IVs independently
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for standard contract rates; candidates within 50 miles are subject to a local rate adjustment
• Must be able to pass a multi-panel drug screen; facility maintains a drug-free campus policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic EMR and PACS systems
• Familiarity with GE MRI scanner platforms specifically (450W and 750W models)
• Experience working in a high-volume radiology department serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency populations
