Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic commercial real estate location where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while creating a welcoming experience for tenants, visitors, and staff.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant activity and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry points, common areas, and/or exterior spaces for security-related concerns, assist with access control practices, and provide information or directions to visitors when needed.
- Support daily property operations by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations, and completing routine logs and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
