Job Description As a Security Officer Facility Access in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to help identify prohibited items, monitor access points, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.27 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen packages, freight, and/or personal items in accordance with established site procedures; identify and report prohibited, suspicious, or unauthorized items and activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate screening and incident documentation. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. X-ray screening experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
