Job Description Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is expanding its daytime general practice and is looking for an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide essential emergency and urgent care services, primarily during overnight shifts. Candidates may be full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling. Responsibilities Provide emergency and urgent care services to patients when needed. Collaborate with a skilled support team to establish protocols and workflows for the new service. Work primarily during overnight shifts, ensuring fast‑paced and rewarding patient care. Assist in the setup and growth of the overnight emergency service. Qualifications DVM Licensed (or eligible) in Florida. Experience or strong interest in emergency/urgent care. Skilled in urgent care / ER cases and surgery. Comfortable working overnight shifts. Confident, compassionate, and ready to help build something new. Doctor of Veterinary degree from an accredited university. Current DEA License or obtained upon hire. Active Veterinary Florida State License. USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire.
