Ultrasound Technologist

Pay Rate: $58 to $62 Per Hour Shift Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 am-5:30 pm Responsibilities: Prepare and examine all patients for ultrasound examinations in accordance with established departmental procedures and techniques. Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, taking safety precautions necessary to protect patients and personnel from electric shock or other hazards. Set up, operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment. Ensure adequate supplies are available for use. Assist in the orientation and mentorship of new Ultrasound personnel. Capture images onto PACS and transfer them to physicians' workstations. Answer telephones, schedule examinations, and may initiate transportation. Perform other duties as required. Requirements: Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of office and administrative practices. Skill in the use of personal computers and software. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
