Description:

If you're looking for a job ASAP and have experience driving Class A CDL vehicles, then this is the position for you! A leading grading and construction company is looking for Class A CDL Drivers to join the team and haul rock and dirt using side dump and straight dump trucks. The company is looking for drivers to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!

Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A CDL side dump and straight dump trucks to transport materials between local job sites.

• Safely navigate active construction and grading job sites while following all site safety rules.

• Comply with all DOT laws and regulations including hours-of-service and load securement.

• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.

• Monitor loads to ensure proper distribution and safe dumping procedures.

• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries.

• Maintain accurate logs and required documentation.

Essential Skills:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Experience operating Class A CDL vehicles including side dump and dump trucks.

• Ability to safely maneuver trucks in tight or uneven job site conditions.

• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience hauling rock, dirt, or similar materials.

• Familiarity with construction and grading job sites.

• Experience with local, short-haul routes.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Reliable and punctual with strong attendance.

Experience Level: Intermediate-Expert Level

Location: Local routes between job sites (no out-of-state travel).

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $52000.00/yr.
