Cart Attendant

Wallkill Golf Club , located in Middletown, NY , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Cart Attendant ! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$15.50 - $17.50 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintains professional appearance
• Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
• Cleans, waters, checks carts after each use and restocks as required
• Cleans and maintains cart barn
• Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
• Receives and communicates complains to the Golf Shop
• Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments
• Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Must have strong customer/guest orientation
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable
• Must have friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
• Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
• Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
