Affordable Housing Assistant Manager - Casa Paloma/Rose Gardens

Position Overview Casa Paloma/Rose Gardens is a supportive/general affordable housing community both comprised of 204 units and located in Midway City/Westminster. The Assistant Manager position is fulltime and responsible for providing direct assistance to the Site Manager in general administration and secretarial/clerical functions. Our portfolio includes multifamily housing for families, seniors, special needs, single room occupancy, mixed use as well as business parks, and commercial properties. Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Site Manager with property operations Prepare and maintain resident files Assist in showing units and screening applicants Assist with scheduling vacant units for refurbishing Assist in the collection of rents and monies due to the property Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in property management Minimum of 1 to 2 years of administrative experience Experience with Section 8, Section 42, and HUD programs Knowledge of Fair Housing Possession of a valid California driver's license Proof of auto insurance Reliable transportation Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail Excellence customer service skills when speaking with residents and vendors Computer skills and experience of Microsoft Suite products Yardi program experience Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 only Preferred Qualifications Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English Yardi program experience General knowledge of fair housing, 504 ADA, HUD, and Section 42 regulations General knowledge in Supportive Housing Certified Professional of Occupancy Certification (CPO)- Section 8 only Specialist in Housing Credit Management Designation (SHCM)- Section 42 only Registered Apartment Manager (RAM) Certification Fair Housing Coordinator (FHC) Certification Compensation $20/Hourly Paid Holidays, Vacation and Sick Time Medical, Dental, Vision, and life Matching 401k EOE #J-18808-Ljbffr Solari Enterprises, Inc.
