Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing recognized assessment tools and observational methods.
• Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate objectives and broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication skills, language development, fluency, vocalization, and swallowing assessments.
• Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other allied health professionals, alongside family members, to ensure comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Provide educational resources and guidance to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the clinical setting.
• Conduct occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions to maintain a seamless continuum of care.
• Ensure meticulous documentation following local, federal, and institutional regulations.
• Engage in continued professional development, staying informed on the latest advancements in therapy practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Licenses and Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
