Kitchen Closing Team Member

The kitchen closing team members play a vital role in providing our customers with excellent customer service by ensuring that each guest is served high-quality products with speed and precision, while following strict quality control checks, safe food procedures, and system requirements. They are responsible for producing the highest quality food with precision and accuracy, continuously observing and implementing the proper quality assurance and food safety procedures while working in a fast-paced, high-energy, and positive environment.

This position is vital to executing our mission of providing "noteworthy" food, services, and environments for our customers.

Responsibilities Daily:

• Close the kitchen area completely with all closing procedures and checklist completed
• Know all Chick-fil-A menu items and related recipes
• Execute our procedures and processes preparing, cooking, and presenting food orders to meet Chick-fil-A's quality standards and food safety requirements.
• Contribute to an overall safe and positive environment by maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift in all food preparation areas
• Perform various kitchen cleaning and storage activities, such as dishwashing, general and equipment cleaning, food and supply storage, and rotation.
• Handle all food-related activities, storage, and cleaning according to sanitary procedures and standards that comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain a calm attitude, especially during high-volume periods, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our customers and team members.
• Comply with all local and state food codes and all Chick-fil-A Food Safe and Pathway operational procedures and standards.
• Comply with all safety requirements in equipment operation and cleaning and in restaurant work.
• Comply with hygiene and appearance standards.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must maintain 40 hours per week. If a team member falls below this threshold for two consecutive pay periods, the salary will adjust to the standard full-time salary
• Available/scheduled to work at least one Saturday per pay period
• Available/scheduled to close at least four nights per week. Salary will adjust to the standard full-time salary if availability is less than four nights per week
• No restaurant experience required, we will train!
• Must be able to lift heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds when necessary
• Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and move easily between work stations
• Before the published deadline, complete the job promotion application (internal candidates) when applicable
• Completed and passed all basic team member courses in Pathway
• Must be willing to work in and out of the restaurant during the shift
