MLee Healthcare is looking for a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a reputable hospital on California's central coast. This role offers the chance to deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, emphasizing preventive care, health promotion, and disease management. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests; analyze results to diagnose conditions.
- Perform procedures such as suturing and splinting.
- Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized care to address or prevent illness and injury.
- Discuss procedures, explain test results, and outline prescribed treatments with patients.
- Supervise and direct professional and ancillary staff in patient care.
- Document patient findings, treatment plans, and follow-up notes in the electronic medical record.
- Stay current with medical practices and advancements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Education & Certifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board Certification in Family Nurse Practitioner.
- California State licensure.
- Current DEA licensure.
- BLS Certification.
Experience:
- Preferred: 3 years of experience, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
