Schedule Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Job Description The Step-Down RN will provide care for patients in a step-down unit, focusing on those with conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure, respiratory failure, and patients recovering from heart catheterizations and vascular procedures. The nurse will monitor vital signs, manage medications, and provide critical patient assessments. Responsibilities Monitor patients post-heart catheterization and vascular procedures Perform frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks Administer medications and manage IV therapies Coperate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge procedures Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of recent Step-Down nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications Experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management Knowledge of respiratory care techniques (BiPAP/CPAP management) Why ARMStaffing?
