Clinical Pharmacist in Westwood, NJ

Job Description

A healthcare facility in Westwood, NJ is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment starting September 8. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with inpatient experience looking to work a standard weekday schedule while gaining exposure to a new environment. Candidates living within 50 miles of the location are not considered, and first-time travel pharmacists are encouraged to apply.

Schedule/Hours:

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Manage inpatient pharmacy duties, ensuring safe and effective medication use
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy
Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document and review medication orders
Provide clinical interventions and support for patient care decisions

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
Proficient with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Licensed pharmacist in good standing
Willingness to relocate or travel for the duration of the contract
