Join to apply for the Endoscopy IRP Surgical Tech role at Inside Higher Ed Job Title: Endoscopy IRP Surgical Tech Department: East | Nursing Services Location: East Hospital - Main (0398) Position Type: Intermittent Scheduled Hours: 0.2 Shift: First Shift The ST is responsible for providing care to the patient and his/her family under the direction of the RN and/or Physician. The ST is responsible for collecting data, performing technical skills related to endoscopic and physiologic testing patient care, reporting to the RN and documenting. Under the supervision of the Endoscopy Charge Nurse, the ST performs basic endoscopy room materials services tasks, direct patient care activities and equipment processing. Under direct supervision of an endoscopic physician, the ST assists with endoscopy handling accessory equipment. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
