You are the team member that our members see every day, and the backbone of our daily operations. Seamless event execution, professional appearance and friendly, courteous demeanor are all essential ingredients in being successful in this role, as is the ability to think ahead and anticipate people's needs. You love people and people love you. All this can be accomplished by: Providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors and users of the lab at reception. Effectively handling phone and in person requests for assistance. A keen attention to detail to anticipate Member needs. Opening and closing the lab location so that its ready for business and meeting our brand standards. Properly stocking and maintaining the appearance of the lab including reception, meeting rooms, Café, Member and common areas. Light cleaning duties with strong attention to detail to ensure the Lab is always up to brand standard for our Members. Assisting in delivering Meeting & Events booked into the lab including set-up, catering, and clean-up. Creating a community through contributions to member events and fostering ways to engage members and the local community. Generating interest in the lab by assisting with certain local marketing activities. Knowing the Lab's Members to ensure the best possible handling of requests, visitors, and service requirements. Updating, charging, and maintaining accurate member information in billing software. Being knowledgeable of all other lab locations, our products and services, and acting as a brand champion. Serving as backup to other similar positions at other Serendipity Lab locations nearby (if applicable) Requirements: Reasoning, remembering, mathematics, appropriate language (written and verbal) ability. Support and interact with members, visitors and lab staff Hearing – Ability to receive detailed information through oral and telephone communication. Talking – Clearly expresses ideas by means of spoken word. Ability to sit, stand, type and view a computer screen for extended periods of time (covers repetitive motions and vision) Ability to perform low impact physical tasks, such as use of stairs, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Regular usage of stairs if required at the location. Satisfactory pre-employment D.O.T drug test.
