COMPANY Precisionspecializesinpreconstructionconsulting,constructionmanagement,andgeneralconstructionservices.Weserveawiderangeofclients—fromaerospaceinnovatorstoprivateequityfirms,realestatedevelopers,architects,engineers,andgovernmentagencies.Whetherourclientsneedhelpwithprojectsstraightoutofsciencefiction(i.e.Hyperlooptechnology)orsimplywanttomitigateriskintheircommercialrealestateportfolios,weempowerthesegroupstobuildbetterprojectsandadvancetheconstructionindustry. OPPORTUNITY PrecisionConstructionServices(PCS)overseesbothpublicandprivateprojectsacrosstheWesternUnitedStatesandispreparingtofurtherscalewithinthisregion.ThisProjectManager(PM)willhavefullownership,utilizingtheircomprehensiveknowledgetoensuresuccessfromthebuyoutphasetoprojectcloseout.WhetherthejobentailsexpandingPrecision’sself-performdivision,operatingasthegeneralcontractor,oradvisingownersastheconstructionmanager,thisPMwillplayanintegralpartindistinguishingPCS. RESPONSIBILITIES Initiateandmanageallactivitiesrelatedtocontractadministration,changeorders,submittals,procurement,andschedule. Developandmaintainpositiverelationshipswithprojectteam(s),clients,owner’srepresentatives,designteam,subcontractors,andothers.ManageallOACactivities;includingmeetingsandallothercommunicationwiththesegroups,toensurepositive,long-termrelationshipsaremaintained. SuperviseProjectEngineersandpartnerwithSuperintendentstoensureallpartiesarealigned. Ensureprojectpermits,inspections,tests,andprocurementactivitiesarecompleted. Demonstratethoroughknowledgeofallmajorprojectissuesandpriorities;prepareandsubmitmonthlyprojectstatusreportstoleadershipforreview. Providegeneraladministrativeandtechnicalleadershipfortheproject.Maintainallprojectrecordsandmonitorcorrespondence. Participateinproposalsandestimatingfornewprojects.Buyoutofsubcontractorsforprojects. Prepareandsubmitmonthlypaymentsforprojects. Ensurethataccurateandcompleteplansandspecificationsareissuedtoallsubcontractorsanddocumentanyomissionsorinaccuracies. Overseetheas-builts,submittalsandmanuals,inconjunctionwiththesuperintendent,andensureallrecordsaretransmittedtotheowneruponcompletionofproject. Position Requirements Abachelor'sdegreeinConstructionManagement,Civil,orArchitecturalEngineering Morethan5 yearsofindustryrelatedexperience,withatleast3yearsasaProjectEngineer Skilledinprojectmanagementsoftware,suchasBluebeam,Excel,Procore,SmartBid,andPrimaveraP6 PositionisbasedinSLO,butrequirestraveltoprojectsoutsideofthearea(typically2overnightstayspermonth) Modelarelationshipcentered,andsolutionsfocusedapproachinallcircumstancestoupholdPrecision’sculture
