Overview Dental Assistant - Excellent Career Opportunity You can fully utilize your Dental Assistant skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

- Assists the doctor in procedures
- Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
- Prophy teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
- Take IO's
- Charting
- Sealants, if applicable
- Certification from a dental college for Dental Assistant
- X-Ray Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification
- Current BLS certification
- Infection Control Certification
- California Dental Pactice Act
